Bryan McDonald serves as the worship pastor of Woodland Park which includes leading contemporary and traditional worship services, the choir program, and the praise band. In addition to overseeing the worship ministry of the church, Bryan also interacts with the senior adult leadership team to help plan ministries for senior adults. He and his wife Lindsey are originally from Missouri and have served in churches in Missouri, Louisiana, and Texas. While serving the church, Bryan has also earned degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in music.
One of the things that excites Bryan about Woodland Park is the sense of community within the church. He enjoys building relationships with the church and coming together to accomplish great things as they pursue the Lord together. Multi-generational worship is another aspect of Woodland Park that excites Bryan. In both of our worship services, there are families that span multiple generations that come together to worship the Lord and in the worship ministry of the church there are opportunities for children, adults, and senior adults to come together in praising God.
Bryan enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, going to concerts at Southeastern, and watching movies. When he’s not at church, you can usually find him at PJs Coffee. He also enjoys participating in the life of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary by serving as an adjunct instructor and singing for special events.
